After watching Julie & Julia

I’ve just finished watching the film: “Julie and Julia” (2009), Nominated for Oscar in 2010.

What i most liked about the story is that it’s a true story… and believe me that is one of the fewest films i liked for that special purpose. The fact that a simple project, a simple decision and a person whom you never even met can alter your whole life is something that i just Love about life.

The film is about a woman (Julie, played by Amy Adams), encouraged by her husband, starts a blog and a project about her favorite book, a cooking book written by Julia (played by Meryl Streep). She decided that in one year, she’ll test the 536 recipes in the book and share the experience with her blog readers. The film shows simultaneously the lives of Julie and Julia, the motives and difficulties each one of them faced in their lives. How cooking made them both feel better and helped them achieve their goals in life.

I guarantee you after watching the film you’ll google at least the blog written by Julie and if you are into reading cooking books, you’ll definitely download the book (Mastering the Art of French Cooking)

Seeing the biography of two people in a single movie is great. But knowing that Julie made her way and let people know her story just by doing what i’m doing now (writing a blog) is really amazing.

It made me want to write in my blog, it made me want to share more with you… because maybe someday, somewhere, someone will read this post and smile
